God Cares (Psalm 69)

Do you ever wonder if God cares? Life’s challenges can become so overwhelming that this is a natural question to consider–no matter how long you’ve walked with Jesus. Scripture paints a real picture of life: it will be difficult, but we have a God who cares:

  • God cares when you are ready to give up. (v. 3)
  • God cares when you are hated without reason. (v. 4)
  • God cares when you are forced to repay something you do not owe. (v. 4)
  • God cares when you are foolish and feel guilty. (v. 5)
  • God cares when you are treated like an outsider by your family. (v. 8)
  • God cares when you are mocked because of your devotion to him. (v. 12)
  • God cares when you are overwhelmed. (v. 14)
  • God cares when you are in pain. (v. 29)

We can tell God anything because he already knows everything and he still loves us unconditionally. That means we can’t lose any of his love, and we can’t earn any more of his love. His love for us is perfect, therefore, he cares about all of our problems, big and small, because they are all small to him!

  • How has God shown his care to you?
  • Does someone you know need to know about God’s care for them?
